Synopsis

Nora, by Sivan Ben Yishai, directed by Bobi Pricop, reinterprets the Ibsen classic as an act of dramaturgical justice. The movement direction, signed by Filip Stoica, functions as an extension of both text and direction. The collective body of the actors gains a shared voice, a group vibration that translates emotion into rhythm. In the final sequence, a choreographic ritual with influences from contemporary dance and 1980s house dance transforms the pulse of house/trance music into ritualistic energy. Nora premiered at the National Theatre Târgu-Mureș on 9 October 2025 and was selected for the 36th National Theatre Festival in Bucharest (16–25 October 2026).
